Currently, over 700 licenses, permits, and certificates are issued in Lithuania, all of which are required for various business activities.The challenges of locating the appropriate licenses, combined with then on-digital issuance processes for some, have led the Ministry of Economy and Innovation to launch a project aimed at streamlining the procedures for starting a business or conducting activities.

• A feasibility study and investment project have been completed
• An analysis and specification of 115 license issuance processes have been conducted
• The technical specification for the development of the Electronic Government Gateway has been prepared
• The technical specification for the development of the Contact Center information system has been completed
• The technical specification for the development of the License Information System has been finalized
